The Latin name Enteromorpha means intestine shaped. This particular algae is similar to Ulva, but features long, hollow, cylindrical appendages. It grows in small clumps attached by a single holdfast. Just like species of Ulva, it is palatable to both fish and invertebrates. It should be anchored to prevent it from clogging filters and pumps. Size 1 pint.
